DISCOLOBOS
Discolobos is a two man producer / DJ crew. Wagun [in shades] known for his complex yet funky beat programming, hip design aesthetic and a certain well-rounded practicallity. Brasby [thumbs up salute] known for conceptual forsight and catalytic hell-raising. Together Discolobos is known for party-rockin' sets and beats that knock-the-f*#$! out the MPC. As of now, they're production is the musical backbone of FCR. |

SUN DULA AHMEN
Sun Dula is one half of the Vagabonds. He's a big man with a very soulful sound. The first time anyone hears his music they often ask, "Who is this?" He writes his own songs with a strict code of honesty, even to a fault. During the day he works at the Webster Ave. Rec. Center in the rough Webster Ave. neighborhood he grew up in. FCR is happy to bring you anything this man does....he's one of the illest and a great human! |

TEARS
The other half of the Vagabonds, Tears has got stories for days. He'll touch on his upbringing, being adopted, daily struggles, an old drama from the past or he'll weave a complete tale of fiction. Don't expect over the top dramatics, expect a human connection and an entertainment through thought and word play. He's the blue collar hustler of the poetry scene. And in a scene which is often clouded with cliche, Tears differentiates himself with superb writing and an undeniable delivery. |

HASSAAN MACKEY
Hassaan Mackey, aka Hassaan Mackafreno, Lil Philly or Godzilla...is a monster on the mic. If you live in Rochester you probably know Hassaan. He's always on foot, knowns everyone and rips any mic open or otherwise. If you don't live in Roc., you'll probably soon know him from collabos with Kev Brown, Planet Asia, Roscoe, Superstition and others. He puts it best in his song Feel It when he says, "I can't relate to rappers with a story to tell...just so they're pocket's will swell." |

ELLIS
A handful of years back Braz started rapping. Because he couldn't find MC's to work with on the regular, it was more out of necessity than anything else. It wound up being a great little experiment involving a closed bedroom door, lots of beats and ideas, lots of cups of coffee and even more drinks. Ellis is the Do-It-Yourself Mentality. He makes his own beats, writes the songs, makes the videos....hey why not? |
