The FCR Handheld Recorder

The Fish & Crown handheld recorder was an ill-fated plan from it's initial conception. We thought it would be great to have this little guy with us at parties or at bars or even when you're waiting outside a club and some guy is asking you for change [did happen- and is recorded].

We found this little Olympus at the local Office Max. They had only this exact one. No box, no instructions and straight off the display for $20 bucks. It was, of course, without the diagonal crack and the black screen.

We got it home to discover a whole slew of good material already pre-recorded by real Americans from inside of the Office Max store [big ups to Jesus Suarez]. These recorders should come stocked this way. It's great to get it home and hear ten-year-olds busting raps and whispering swear words.

We gave it to Sun Dula to take to his rec. center and on the first day, some bad-ass kid punched it out of his hand. Which leads us to our present state...Busted!
